Iron Man Ridge Introduction

Walking should find the difficult path, and when shouldering a burden, choose the heavy load; coming to learn to be a tough man, and going to become a tough man. If you want to become a tough man, come to Guanyin Mountain to challenge the Tough Guy Ridge. Tough Guy Ridge, with an elevation of 616 meters, is the highest peak of Guanyin Mountain. It was named after the "Tough Guy Spirit" trained here by the military police school in the past. The incline of Tough Guy Ridge is 14.87%, which is steep and classified as a second-class slope. The one-way distance is about 1563 meters, mostly consisting of stone steps, requiring at least 60 minutes of slow walking to reach the top of the trail, thus it is categorized as a "training level" trail, suitable for those who frequently hike or have better physical fitness. The entire trail is densely forested, with rich plant ecology and plenty of shade, making it not too hot during summer hikes. Along the way, you can take breaks to admire the rich ecological environment. Once you reach the top of Tough Guy Ridge, the view is expansive; you can overlook the Tamsui River estuary, Taipei 101, Shin Kong Tower, Grande Hotel, Guandu Bridge, Tamsui, Baliao, and the beautiful scenery of the Greater Taipei area, as well as the stunning Shijian Mountain Range surrounding Guanyin Mountain, providing a breathtaking panorama.
