Lutao Yang Family Settlement Introduction
The Jiang Family Ancient House, located between Tainan's Yuqing and Nanshi along Taiwan Route 3, is recognized as the largest and best-preserved traditional Hokkien-style rural settlement in Taiwan. Covering an area of 3.5 hectares, this ancient house complex preserves 200-year-old earthen houses, bamboo-woven houses, as well as brick houses and washed pebbled houses from the Japanese colonial period, serving as a microcosm of the evolution of farmhouse architecture in Taiwan over the past 300 years.
