Gui Dan Hot Spring Experience Pool Introduction
"Guidan" sounds like a place name from a mythical story and is said to be derived from the language of the Pingpu people. In fact, "Guidan" means hot spring, similar to how the Atayal people refer to hot springs as "Wulai." The hot spring source in Guidan is located in the valley at the junction of Tangan Mountain and Meiling, formed due to tectonic uplift. It is classified as a bicarbonate mineral spring, and soaking in it can make the skin smooth and delicate, hence it is also known as the "Beauty Spring."
