Yingcai Academy (formerly known as Minnan Academy) covers an area of 9,270 square meters (approximately 3,000 ping) with a building area of 1,387 square meters (approximately 420 ping). The design of the academy draws inspiration from Minnan architectural vocabulary and the spirit of various schools while adhering to the principles of ancient imitation and creativity. For instance, the traditional geographical and architectural scale respects ancient principles, whereas the structural space and shape of the building adopt an ancient imitation approach. The literary ambiance of the pool, bridge, and garden landscapes is infused with creativity. In terms of sustainable operation, it aims to focus on the inheritance of cultural classics, with cultural and artistic activities covering history, arts, culture, and the well-being across various fields, thus becoming "living historical architecture and living cultural relics." Integrating local educational resources from the neighboring areas of Qiaoqiao Township and Houlong Township, the academy is designed in a Minnan style with functions for "lectures, temple worship, and scholar education." Internally, it features the Wenchang Temple, Dacheng Hall, lecture hall, static display area, dynamic display area, and open space area, emphasizing local Minnan cultural characteristics in the educational center. It aims to create a local education museum for Minnan culture in the county, incorporating ecological and sustainable park designs and providing a high-quality environment for learning, leisure, ecology, environmental protection, and education, grounded in regional educational resource integration. As the ancient saying goes, "Being by the flowing water inspires distant thoughts," Yingcai Academy is located beside the clear waters of the Beishi Stream. Visitors to the academy first stroll along the riverside path, allowing their souls to settle, then gaze at the reflection of the arch bridge and white clouds in the pond, and finally walk along the scholarly avenue bridge to appreciate the beauty of the academy's red-tiled roof and white walls. Upon entering the gate tower and stepping into the tranquil courtyard of the academy, the distractions of the outside world seem to fade away, leaving only the clear sounds of students reading aloud.
