Longsheng Lake Introduction
Located on the western side of Zaoqiao Township, also known as "Datan Pond," it is adjacent to Holo Town. The lake is not large and is surrounded by roads, allowing visitors to enjoy the exquisite scenery of the lake while following the lakeside road. The lakeshore is lined with lush trees and scattered homes, featuring two temples: Longhu Temple and Lintian Zen Temple, set amidst the picturesque landscape. The lake waters flow from the northwestern corner into the Zhonggang Creek, eventually returning to the Taiwan Strait. The residents around the lake raise nearly five thousand ducks, turning the emerald green surface into a natural beauty scene of "thousands of ducks frolicking in spring." Many fish are also raised in the lake. At sunset, the golden rays illuminate the shimmering surface of the lake, creating a tranquil and harmonious scene with ducks, fishermen, bamboo rafts, evening breezes, and returning woodcutters, making it a great place to appreciate rural landscapes.
