Longsheng Lake Introduction
Located on the western side of Zaoqiao Township, also known as "Datan Pond," it is adjacent to Houlung Township. The lake is not large, surrounded by roads that allow visitors to enjoy the exquisite beauty of the lake's landscape along the lakeside road. The lakeside is lined with lush trees and scattered homes, featuring two temples: Longhu Temple and Lingtian Zen Temple, creating a serene and beautiful atmosphere. The lake water flows out from the northwest corner, into the Zhonggang River, and eventually returns to the Taiwan Strait. The surrounding households have raised nearly five thousand ducks in the lake area, creating a natural beauty that resembles "thousands of ducks playing in spring." The lake is also home to many fish. At sunset, golden rays illuminate the shimmering surface of the lake, with scenes of ducks, fishermen, bamboo rafts, evening breezes, and returning woodcutters intertwining into a tranquil and harmonious landscape, making it a great spot to appreciate rural scenery.
