Longsheng Lake Introduction

Located on the west side of Zaoqiao Township, also known as "Datanpi," it is adjacent to Houlung Township. The lake is not large, but it is surrounded by roads, allowing visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the lake from the surrounding road. The lakeside is lush with green trees and scattered houses, as well as two temples, Longhu Palace and Lingtian Zen Temple, situated among them, creating a serene and picturesque landscape. The water flows out from the northwest corner of the lake into the Zhonggang River and then returns to the Taiwan Strait. The residents around the lake have raised nearly five thousand ducks, turning the emerald green surface of the lake into a natural beauty of "thousands of ducks playing in spring." Many fish are also raised in the lake. At sunset, golden rays illuminate the shimmering surface of the lake, with ducks returning home, fishermen, bamboo rafts, evening breezes, and returning woodcutters intertwining into a tranquil and peaceful scene, making it a great place to appreciate rural scenery.
