Jiangjiu Heji Yang Temple, Yuanlin City Introduction
Jiyang Temple in Changhua County is a large-scale ancestral hall that preserves the regional architectural style and holds special significance for the local culture and history, representing the era. The building itself integrates styles from the Japanese colonial era and Han architecture, making it a typical example of the Hakka roundhouse architecture in Zhangzhou, Pinghe. It features a main hall with two courtyards and flanking dragon guardians, housing a large community while maintaining the original appearance of Hakka culture. The main hall's shrine retains original items from the Japanese colonial period, carrying both artistic and historical significance.
