Jiangjiuhejiyangtang, Yuanlin City Introduction
Jiyang Hall, designated as a historical site in Changhua County, is a large temple that retains the regional architectural style and holds special significance in terms of local culture and history, making it a representation of its era. The building itself combines architectural styles from the Japanese occupation period and traditional Han styles, forming a typical Hakka courtyard house from Zhangzhou Pinghe. It features a main hall with two courtyards and guardian dragons on both sides, representing a large community while preserving the original characteristics of the Hakka culture. The main hall's deity altar is an original piece from the Japanese occupation, holding both artistic and historical significance.
