Jiangjiuheji Yangtang, Yuanlin City Introduction
Jiayang Hall is a large-scale temple that retains the regional characteristics of its architecture, holding special significance for the local culture and history, and serves as a symbol of its era. The building itself blends architectural styles from the Japanese occupation period with traditional Han styles, exemplifying the typical Hakka circular compound architecture from Zhangzhou, Pinghe. It features a central hall with two courtyards and protective dragons on both sides, representing a large community while maintaining the original Hakka features. The main altar retains artifacts from the Japanese occupation, which possess artistic and historical significance.
