Taichung HSR Station Introduction
Recently, Changhua has two very important landmarks in transportation: Yuanlin Railroad Station and the High-Speed Rail Changhua Station. Among them, the design scale and recognition of the High-Speed Rail Changhua Station are particularly notable. The station was designed by architect Yao Ren-chi, with an overall concept of "gold standard green building," which enhances the spirit of local industries. The design concept is based on the character "田" (field), incorporating elements of flowers and sunlight to create distinctive features of the Changhua Station. The station's floor-to-ceiling windows and indoor green landscaping present exciting visual changes with lighting and building silhouettes at night. In April 2016, it even won the "Viewer's Choice Award" in the station category at the A+ Awards organized by Architizer in the United States, making it a significant landscape in Tianzhong.
