Changhua HSR Station Introduction
Recently, there are two very important landmarks in Changhua's transportation, one is Yuanlin Railway Station, and the other is Changhua High-Speed Rail Station. Among them, the Changhua High-Speed Rail Station is particularly notable for its design scale and reputation. The station was designed by architect Yao Ren-chi, and the overall concept is "Gold-level Green Building," reinforcing the spirit of local industries. The design concept is based on the character "田" (field), with the station's characteristics incorporating flowers and sunlight, attempting to inject local floral imagery into the modern high-tech station. The floor-to-ceiling windows and indoor green landscaping present a remarkable visual change in the evening when illuminated, and in April 2016, it won the "Audience Choice Award" in the station category at the A+ Awards organized by Architizer in the United States, making it a significant landscape in Tianzhong.
