Changhua HSR Station Introduction
Recently, Changhua has two very important transportation landmarks: Yuanlin Railway Station and Changhua High-Speed Rail Station. Among them, the Changhua High-Speed Rail Station is particularly unique in its design scale and renown. The station was designed by architect Yao Ren-Hsi, with the overall concept being "gold-level green architecture," which enhances the local industrial spirit. The design concept is based on a "field" shape, incorporating flowers and sunlight to characterize the Changhua Station's design, attempting to infuse local floral imagery into a modern high-tech station. The floor-to-ceiling windows and indoor greenery create a spectacular visual variation at night with lighting and building silhouettes. In April 2016, it won the "Audience Choice Award" in the station category at the A+ Awards organized by Architizer in the United States, making it a significant landscape in Tianzhong.
