Changhua High Speed Rail Station Introduction
Recently, there are two very important landmarks in Changhua's transportation: Yuanlin Train Station and Changhua High-Speed Rail Station. Among them, Changhua High-Speed Rail Station is the most special in terms of design scale and recognition. The station was designed by architect Yao Ren-Chi, with an overall concept of "gold-level green building," enhancing the spirit of local industries. The design concept is based on the character "田" (field), and the features of the Changhua Station are composed of flowers and sunlight, attempting to infuse local floral imagery into a modern high-tech station. The floor-to-ceiling windows and indoor greenery create exciting visual changes at night with the lighting and the silhouette of the building. In April 2016, it even won the "Audience Choice Award" for the station category at the A+ Architecture Awards organized by Architizer in the United States, making it an important landscape in Tianzhong.
