Guoshan Old Trail Introduction
After the completion of the Green Island Circumference Highway, the ancient paths gradually lost their function. The Eastern District Office has renovated the entire path, paving it with stone slabs, and named it the "Guoshan Ancient Trail." The Guoshan Ancient Trail is 1.85 kilometers long and takes about 90-100 minutes for a round trip. Walking along the stone path of the Guoshan Ancient Trail, visitors can enjoy rich natural ecology, observing typical Green Island plants such as the tree stump, Lanyu agarwood, wild peony, and myrtle at any time. Visitors may also see interesting species like the golden orb-weaving spider and the tree skink. It is a forest trail rich in ecological scenery where travelers can stroll leisurely and carefully observe various terrestrial flora and fauna, and discover many memorable surprises.
