Guoshan Old Trail Introduction

After the completion of the circular highway on Green Island, the ancient paths gradually lost their function. The Eastern District Office has fully renovated and paved the entire route with stone slabs, naming it the "Guoshan Ancient Path." The Guoshan Ancient Path is 1.85 kilometers long, taking about 90-100 minutes for a round trip. Following the stone path of the Guoshan Ancient Path, visitors can ascend while enjoying the rich natural ecology. They can frequently observe typical Green Island plants such as endemics, incense wood, wild peonies, and myrtle, as well as the common human-faced spider and the climbing lizard. It is a forest trail rich in ecological landscapes where travelers can leisurely stroll and carefully observe various terrestrial plants, lizards, insects, and other land animals, discovering many unforgettable surprises.
