Old Mountain Trail Introduction
After the completion of the circular road around Green Island, the old trail gradually lost its function. The Eastern Coast National Scenic Area Administration has fully renovated the trail, paving it with stone slabs and naming it the "Over Mountain Ancient Trail." Walking up the stone path of the Over Mountain Ancient Trail, one can find rich natural ecology along the way, with opportunities to observe various typical Green Island plants such as tree chaste, indigenous sandalwood, wild peony, and myrtle. The trail is also home to many unique inhabitants like the spider with a human face and the tree-climbing lizard. It's a forest trail rich in ecological scenery where travelers can stroll leisurely and carefully observe plants, lizards, insects, and other terrestrial flora and fauna, discovering many unforgettable surprises.
