Old Mountain Trail Introduction
After the completion of the Green Island Circumference Highway, the ancient trail gradually lost its function. The East Coast National Scenic Area Administration has fully renovated and paved it with stone slabs, naming it the "Guoshan Trail." The Guoshan Trail is 1.85 kilometers long and takes about 90-100 minutes for a round trip. Following the stone path of the Guoshan Trail, visitors can hike uphill, with rich natural ecology all around. One can observe various typical Green Island plants, such as tree ferns, fragrant wood from Orchid Island, wild peonies, and myrtle. Additionally, the trail is home to numerous human-faced spiders and tree-climbing lizards, making it a forest trail rich in ecological landscapes. Travelers can leisurely stroll, carefully observing plants, lizards, insects, and other land flora and fauna, and discover many unforgettable surprises.
