Wugu Zhiguang Temple Introduction
Zhiguang Temple is located in Wugu District, New Taipei City, and is one of the three temples established by Master Ruxue. Over twenty years ago, it was originally a small private Buddhist hall, serving as a place for family practice. Around the 87th year of the Republic of China (1998), opportunities matured, and Master Ruxue was invited to preside over the temple affairs. Today, Zhiguang Temple is a grand Buddhist temple occupying a vast area, surrounded by lush vegetation and beautiful mountains and waters. The old mountain gate of Zhiguang Temple was originally located right in front of the Daxiongbao Hall, with a pond in front, but was later relocated to the left side of the temple, rendering the old mountain gate obsolete. To the south, Zhiguang Temple connects to Linkou, where Zhu Lin Temple can be visited, while to the north, it overlooks Bali and the Danhai area, featuring two ancient temples, Baoxie Temple and Xiyun Temple, and is adjacent to Lingyun Temple on Guanyin Mountain, making it a place of both natural beauty and cultural significance.
