Zhi Guang Temple, Wugu Introduction
Zhiguang Temple is located in Wugu District, New Taipei City, and is one of the three venues established by Master Ruxue. More than 20 years ago, it was originally a private small temple, serving as a place for family practice. Around the years 1998 and 1969, once the opportunity arose, Master Ruxue was invited here to manage the temple affairs. Today, Zhiguang Temple is a magnificent Buddhist hall, covering a vast area, with lush greenery and beautiful scenery. The old mountain gate of Zhiguang Temple was originally located in front of the Main Hall, with a pond in front. It was later rebuilt on the left side of the temple, and the old mountain gate was thus abandoned. To the south of Zhiguang Temple is Linkou, where Zhulin Temple is available for visiting. To the north, looking towards Bali and Tamhai, there are two ancient temples, Baoxie Temple and Xiyun Temple, and it is adjacent to Lingyun Temple on Guanyin Mountain, making it a place of both spiritual significance and outstanding people.
