Zhi Guang Temple, Wugu Introduction
Zhiguang Zen Temple is located in Wugu District, New Taipei City, and is one of the three temples founded by Master Ruxue. Over twenty years ago, it was originally a small private Buddhist hall, a place for family practice. Around the 87th year of the Republic of China (1998), when the timing was right, Master Ruxue was invited to manage the temple. Today, Zhiguang Zen Temple is an impressive Buddhist hall, occupying a vast area, with lush greenery and beautiful mountains and rivers. The old mountain gate of Zhiguang Zen Temple was originally located right in front of the Da Xiong Bao Dian (Great Buddha Hall), with a pond in front. It was later reconstructed to the left side of the temple, rendering the old mountain gate abandoned. To the south, Zhiguang Zen Temple connects to Linkou, where Zhu Lin Temple can be visited. To the north, across the Dahan River, there are two ancient temples, Baoxie Zen Temple and Xiyun Zen Temple, as well as the neighboring Lingyun Zen Temple on Guanyin Mountain, making it a truly blessed location.
