Wugu Zhiguang Temple Introduction
Zhiguang Zen Temple is located in Wugu District, New Taipei City, and is one of the three monasteries founded by Master Ruxue. Over twenty years ago, it was originally a small private temple serving as a place for family practice. Around the years 1998 to 1999, an opportunity arose, and Master Ruxue was invited to oversee the temple's affairs. Today, Zhiguang Zen Temple is a grandly constructed Buddhist temple with an expansive area, adorned with lush greenery and beautiful mountain and water scenery. The old mountain gate, which was originally located in front of the main hall, with a pond in front of it, was later relocated to the left side of the temple, rendering the old mountain gate obsolete. To the south, Zhiguang Zen Temple connects to Linkou, where Zhulinsi Temple can be visited. To the north, overlooking the Tamsui River in Bali, there are two ancient temples: Baoxian Zen Temple and Xiyun Zen Temple. It also neighbors Lingyun Zen Temple on Guanyin Mountain, making it a truly blessed and remarkable location.
