Wugu Zhiguang Temple Introduction
Zhiguang Zen Temple is located in Wugu District, New Taipei City, and is one of the three temples established by Master Ruxue. Over 20 years ago, it was originally a small private shrine serving as a place for family practice. Around the 87th year of the Republic of China (1998), the opportunity arose to invite Master Ruxue to manage the temple affairs. Today, Zhiguang Zen Temple is an impressively built Buddhist temple covering a vast area, with lush greenery and beautiful mountains and waters. The old mountain gate of Zhiguang Zen Temple was originally located in front of the Main Hall, where there used to be a pond. It was later relocated to the left side of the temple, and the old mountain gate was thus abandoned. Zhiguang Zen Temple connects to Linkou to the south, where you can visit Zhulin Temple, and to the north overlooks the Dahan River, with two ancient temples, Baoxie Zen Temple and Xiyun Zen Temple. It also neighbors Lingyun Zen Temple on Guanyin Mountain, making it a remarkable place with spiritual significance.
