Shuiai Scenic Park Introduction

Shuiwei Scenic Park is located beside the estuary where the Jinbaoli River and the Yuantan River meet, at the foot of Lion's Head Mountain in a small fishing village. In the past, this area was only accessible to local residents. The local plan includes the "Yuantan River Scenic Path," where the beautiful arch bridge offers breathtaking views, attracting many tourists to experience the leisurely and relaxed fishing village scenery. The Shuiwei Fishing Port, separated by Lion's Head Mountain, looks across at Huanggang Fishing Port, featuring stunning mountain and sea vistas. It is also known for the famous "Shuiwei Moonlight," one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Jinshan. During a full moon, the moonlight reflects beautifully on the Shuiwei Fishing Port, creating a mesmerizing sight; especially during the Mid-Autumn Festival when the moon rises from Cape Yaeliu, casting a golden glow over Shuiwei Bay, while the shimmering fishing lights on the water create a stunning scene that captivates the viewer, allowing one to immerse in the beauty without regard for others.
