Shuijiao Scenic Park Introduction

Shuiwei Scenic Park is located next to the mouth of the Jinbaoli River and the Yuantan River, at the foot of Shitoushan Park. This small fishing village was once only accessible to local residents. The area is planned with the "Yuantan River Scenic Trail," and the beautiful arch bridge that pierces the skyline is captivating, attracting numerous visitors to experience the leisurely atmosphere of the local fishing village. The Shuiwei Fishing Port, separated by Shitoushan, gazes remotely at Huanggang Fishing Port, featuring stunning views where mountains meet the ocean. It is also home to the famous "Shuiwei Moonlight," one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Jinshan. Each full moon, the moonlight bathes Shuiwei Fishing Port, creating a breathtaking scene of water reflecting the light. Particularly during the Mid-Autumn Festival, when the moon rises from the direction of Cape Yehliu and illuminates Shuiwei Bay with a golden glow, the shimmering reflections of fishing lights on the water create a mesmerizing sight, leaving one completely absorbed in the beauty of the moment.
