Houliao Environmental Park Introduction
The Fengyuan Sanxiang City Joint Landfill, covering an area of over 20 hectares, was closed in 1998. The Taichung City Government has since engaged in planting on the original site, with 5 hectares designated as the Houli Environmental Nursery. After actively filling soil and improving soil quality, the thriving nursery of flowers and plants was established. Following the successful operation of the nursery, the Agricultural Bureau began working on the Eco-Park revitalization project.
