Pilu Temple Introduction
The temple architecture itself carries a European romantic atmosphere, which is different from the traditional Chinese architectural style of typical Buddhist temples. Among them, the Baroque-style Main Hall stands out the most in grandeur. Behind the temple, there is a mountain trail that offers a tranquil environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the world. The scenery near the Pilu Zen Temple is beautiful, especially the "Pilu Dawn Bell," which was once listed as one of the Eight Views of Old Taichung County. Nearby, visitors can also explore the Houli Horse Ranch and the Houfeng Bike Path, making it a must-visit spot for those who enjoy religious tourism and being close to nature. Note: Due to the limited street lighting along the way and the presence of snakes on the mountain paths, it is not recommended to visit after 5 PM.
