Pilu Temple Introduction
The temple architecture itself exudes a European romantic atmosphere, differing from the traditional Chinese architecture of typical Buddhist temples. Notably, the main hall, designed in the Baroque style, is particularly impressive. Behind the temple, there is a mountain walk path, creating a serene environment away from the hustle and bustle of the world. The area around Pilu Zen Temple is picturesque, especially the "Pilu Dawn Bell," which was once listed among the Eight Scenic Spots of the former Taichung County. Visitors can also explore the nearby Houli Horse Ranch and the Houfeng Bicycle Path, making it a must-visit for those who enjoy religious tourism and connecting with nature. Note: Due to fewer streetlights along the way and the presence of snakes in the mountain paths, it is not recommended to visit after 5 PM.
