Bilu Zen Temple Introduction
The temple architecture itself carries a European romantic charm, which differs from the traditional Chinese architecture of typical Buddhist temples. Among them, the grandeur of the Baroque-style Mahavira Hall is particularly outstanding. Behind the temple, there is a mountain trail, and the overall environment is tranquil, away from the hustle and bustle of the world. The nearby Pilu Zen Temple boasts beautiful scenery, especially the "Pilu Dawn Bell," which was once listed as one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Old Taichung County. Visitors can also enjoy a trip to the Houli Horse Ranch and the Houfeng Bike Path nearby, making it a must-visit spot for those who love religious tourism and being close to nature. Note: It is not recommended to visit after 5 PM due to fewer streetlights along the way and the possibility of encountering snakes on the mountain paths.
