Bilu Zen Temple Introduction

The temple architecture itself carries a European romantic atmosphere, which differs from the typical traditional Chinese Buddhist temple design. Notably, the Mahavira Hall built in Baroque style is the most impressive. Behind the temple, there is a mountain trail that offers a serene environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the world. The scenery near Pilu Zen Temple is beautiful, especially the "Pilu Dawn Bell," which was once listed as one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Old Taichung County. Visitors can also explore the Houli Horse Ranch and the Houfeng Bicycle Path nearby, making it a must-visit for those who enjoy religious tourism and getting close to nature. Note: Due to the limited street lighting along the way and the presence of snakes on the mountain trails, it is not advisable to visit after 5 PM.
