Tieh Hsien Bridge Tong Ji Temple Introduction
The Tiexian Bridge is located in the current Xinying District, Tiexian Village, across from Xiaying by the banks of the Jushui Creek. In the early days, the settlement thrived on river port transportation, serving as a crucial transportation route to Tainan City. Therefore, during the Kangxi era, Tiexian Bridge was built for passage and the settlement was named after the bridge. Tiexian Bridge is situated along the coastal area of the Daofeng Inner Sea and the mouth of the Jushui Creek, leveraging river port transport to become a hub for agricultural products and a sizable port town.
