Furongpi Ecological Park Introduction
The Furong Pond in the Chang'an Community of Houbi District was originally built as a "feng shui pond" at the entrance of the Lin family's ancestral home. Previously, it was a pond filled with industrial waste. Community residents have restored it using ecological methods, transforming it into a beautiful pond. Currently, artificial floating islands have been placed in the pond to grow aquatic plants, making it a wetland ecology teaching area for water quality purification and reuse. An ecological trail has also been created, with mountain hibiscus and various indigenous plants planted on both sides, showcasing the local characteristics.
