Houbikeng Camphor Tree Lane Introduction
HoubNi District is located at the northernmost tip of Tainan City, in the northern part of the Chianan Plain, just two kilometers south of the Bajhang River. It is a narrow plain formed by the alluvium of the Bajhang River and the Jishui River. The terrain is higher in the northeast and slopes down to the west, with most of the area belonging to the Chianan Plain. To the north and west, it is bordered by the Bajhang River and Chiayi County's Shuishang Township and Lukao Township; to the east, it borders the Baihe District; to the southeast, it is adjacent to the Dongshan District; and to the south, it connects with the Xinying District. The area covers 72.2189 square kilometers. Due to its abundant water resources, it is extensively planted with rice and is considered the granary of the Chianan Plain, with a cultivation area of over 3,500 hectares, the largest in the country. Additionally, the warm climate and fertile soil nurture a variety of agricultural products, including rice, guava, cantaloupe, and orchids. Nestled among the lush rice fields, the Green Tunnel offers a unique sense of tranquility. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, HoubNi provides people with the freedom to enjoy a leisurely lifestyle.
