The Shell Museum in Cijin boasts an impressive collection, considered one of the best in the country, featuring over 2,000 species of shells and approximately 200 species of crabs, including all five major types of "King Shells."

Cijin Shell Museum Introduction

The Cijin Shell Museum is located on the 2nd floor of No. 887, Cijin 3rd Road, Cijin District, Kaohsiung City. It is the largest public shell exhibition hall in Taiwan, showcasing more than 2,000 species of shell specimens. The collection is provided by Mr. Huang Ke-Liang and Ms. Shen Shu-Hui. The museum's treasure is the enormous "Tridacna gigas," along with other rare shell species such as the conch, the black star shell, and the dragon palace shell, which are also stunning collections.
