Wulin Trail Introduction

The coastline of Yong'an District in Kaohsiung stretches approximately 5 kilometers. In response to the rising trend of eco-tourism, the district office has developed attractions such as Diamond Bay and Yongxin Bay along the coast, complemented by the Xinguang Wulin Toad Path that leads directly to the beach. These spots have become hidden gems for many adventure seekers. Walking along the tranquil path while feeling the sea breeze and enjoying the coastal views and sunsets can be quite enchanting. Yong'an is renowned for its cultured grouper fish; the aquaculture industry thrives here. Also, as a fishing village by the sea, Yong'an boasts a beautiful coastline that connects the sea dyke road, known as Grouper Road, with the green beautification transformation of the Wulin Toad community, creating a perfect place for relaxation in this serene fishing village. At this hidden gem, the Xinguang Wulin Toad Path offers distant views of the power plant's dock and the ring bay formed by numerous wave dissipating blocks. When sunlight reflects off the ocean surface, it sparkles brightly, resembling a diamond—truly a beautiful sight. Following the observation path down, visitors can enjoy wading and playing in the sand. This beach is seldom visited, making it very clean, with warm, fine sand. Although not as white as the sand in Kenting, it is equally clean and comfortable. At night, one can gaze at the moon and count the stars, adding a touch of romance to the experience.
