Lotus Temple Trail Introduction
The "Lianhua Temple Circular Mountain Trail" is the first circular trail located at the intersection of Xinfeng Township and Zhubei City along the Coastal Highway. The trail system mainly features wooden sleepers and passes through areas of clayey soil, lush vegetation, and lychee orchards, with osmanthus trees lining both sides, creating a pleasant environment. It is complemented by boardwalks and resting/viewing facilities, and from the summit, one can gaze out over the Taiwan Strait. Due to the western end of Fengbi Mountain protruding into the Taiwan Strait, the end of the mountain resembles a phoenix nose, commonly known as "Fengbiwei," offering superb coastal scenery. Every evening as the sun sets, the red clouds and mountain colors intermingle, surrounded by green trees. "Danshui Hall Records" lists it as one of the top eight scenic spots in Danshui, named "Fengqi Evening Glow."
