Lotus Temple Trail Introduction
The "Lotus Temple Circular Trail" is the first circular trail located at the junction of Xinfeng Township and Zhubei City along the coastal highway. The trail system mainly features a wooden sleeper structure, passing through clayey soil with lush vegetation coverage, lychee orchards, and a thoroughfare lined with osmanthus trees, creating an enjoyable environment. It is complemented by boardwalks and scenic rest facilities, and from the summit, one can gaze out at the Taiwan Strait. Due to the western end of Fengbi Mountain jutting into the Taiwan Strait, the mountain’s tip resembles the shape of a phoenix's beak, colloquially known as "Phoenix Beak Tail," and offers stunning coastal views. Whenever the sun sets, the red clouds and mountain colors create a beautiful reflection, surrounded by green trees. "The Gazette of Tamsui" lists it as one of Tamsui's Eight Scenic Spots, named "Fengqi Evening Glow."
