Lotus Temple Trail Introduction
The "Lotus Temple Circular Mountain Trail," the first circular trail, is located at the intersection of Xinfeng Township and Zhubei City along the coastal highway. The trail system primarily uses wooden sleepers and passes through clayey soil with lush vegetation areas and lychee orchards, while both sides are lined with osmanthus streets, providing a pleasant scenery. It is complemented by observation facilities with wooden walkways for resting, and from the summit, one can enjoy a view of the Taiwan Strait. As the western end of Fengbi Mountain protrudes into the Taiwan Strait, the end of the mountain resembles a phoenix beak, commonly known as "Fengbiwei," offering an excellent coastal view. Whenever the sun sets, the red clouds and the mountain hues mix beautifully, surrounded by greenery. "Danshui Hall Records" lists it as one of the eight scenic spots of Danshui, named "Fengqi Evening Glow."
