Lotus Temple Trail Introduction
The "Lotus Temple Circular Mountain Trail" is the first circular trail located at the intersection of Xinfeng Township and Zhubei City along the coastal highway. The trail system primarily utilizes wooden sleepers and traverses through clayey soil, lush vegetation, and lychee orchards, with sweet osmanthus planted on both sides, making the environment pleasant. It is equipped with viewing platforms for rest, and the summit offers a panoramic view of the Taiwan Strait. Since the western end of Fengbi Mountain juts out into the Taiwan Strait, the end of the mountain resembles a phoenix nose, commonly referred to as "Fengbiwei," providing excellent coastal scenery. Every evening at sunset, the red clouds and mountain colors blend together, surrounded by green trees. The "Tamsui Hall Records" lists it as one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Tamsui, named "Fengqi Evening Glow."
