Lotus Temple Trail Introduction
The "Lotus Temple Circular Mountain Trail" is the first circular trail located at the intersection of Xinfeng Township and Zhubei City along the coastal highway. The trail system primarily features a wooden plank structure, passing through clayey soil with lush vegetation cover, lychee orchards, and rows of osmanthus trees on both sides, creating a pleasant atmosphere. It is also equipped with boardwalks and viewing facilities for rest, and from the summit, one can gaze out at the Taiwan Strait. Due to the protrusion of Fengbi Mountain's western end into the Taiwan Strait, the end of the mountain resembles a phoenix's beak, commonly known as "Fengbi Wei," offering exceptional coastal scenery. Every evening at sunset, the red clouds and mountain colors blend, surrounded by green trees. The "Tamsui Hall Records" lists it as one of the eight scenic spots in Tamsui, named "Fengqi Evening Glow."
