Lotus Temple Trail Introduction
The "Lotus Temple Mountain Trail" is the first circular trail located at the junction of Xingfeng Township and Zhubei City along the Coastal Highway. The trail system primarily uses wooden sleepers and runs through areas of clayey soil, boasting lush vegetation coverage, including lychee orchards. Both sides are lined with osmanthus trees, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Equipped with viewing platforms for rest and relaxation, the summit offers breathtaking views of the Taiwan Strait. Due to the protrusion of Fengbi Mountain's western end into the Taiwan Strait, the end of the mountain resembles a phoenix's beak, commonly referred to as "Fengbiwei". The coastal scenery is exceptional, and during sunset, the red clouds and mountain shades blend beautifully, surrounded by green trees. The "Tamsui Hall Chronicle" lists it as one of the eight scenic spots of Tamsui, named "Fengqi Evening Glow".
