Shihkuang (Tiger Hill) Trail Introduction
Once an important agricultural trail between Shigangzi and Longtan, it has a history of nearly two hundred years. It gradually fell into decline after the construction of the highway several decades ago. In recent years, with the efforts of the local community development association and supported by government funding, the Shiguang Ancient Trail has been refurbished by the Shiguang Community Development Association and the government. The trail begins at Shiguang Junior High School and ends at the Tea Garden Pavilion, with pavilions, viewing platforms, and wooden benches installed along the way for tourist recreation. This survey combines the Shiguang Trail and Shiguang Ancient Trail, where the Shiguang Trail extends from the Sacred Heart Cathedral to the Tea Garden Pavilion. Due to this trail passing through Laohushan, it is commonly referred to by locals as the Laohushan Trail.
