Shih-liao Yun-piao Mountain Villa Introduction
Emei Township was once an important production area for camphor in Taiwan, and the twelfth camphor workshop, known as Shiliiao, is now located within the Shiliiao Leisure Agricultural Landscape Area in Emei Township. To irrigate the nearby farmland, farmers also excavated the Shiliiao Large Pond. The lush green grass around the pond reflects the blue sky and green trees like a mirror. If you have extra energy, you can even bike all the way to Lion Head Mountain, linking up a complete tour of the Paulownia scenic spots in Emei Township. As it has become a popular tourist attraction, visitors will find famous snacks, international restaurants, and romantic scenic cafes along the way, allowing them to plan their own unique journeys based on their physical fitness and preferences. Regarding the running events that have become popular in Taiwan in recent years, Emei Lake is also a suitable location. The Education Department’s Physical Education Section of Hsinchu County Government will hold the Emei Buddha Road Running event on May 4, starting from the Tian'en Maitreya Buddha Square and circling Emei Lake, showcasing the beautiful scenic route. For example, Yunque Mountain Villa, covering about two hectares, is a great choice for dining and relaxation.
