Shangrui Citrus Orchard Introduction
Shangrui Leisure Fruit Farm is located in Zhudong Township, Hsinchu County, along the Donghe Industrial Road, 500 meters from the Nanqing Highway. It began cultivating citrus trees in 1989, primarily growing Shiran and Fukuda oranges. The orchard covers approximately 1.5 hectares and transitioned into a recreational industry opened for fruit picking in 1993. Currently, it receives technical guidance from the agricultural association and the township office, and undergoes agricultural inspections by the Taoyuan Agricultural Research and Extension Station every year. In 2000, it was awarded the silver medal in the "Tourist Farm Evaluation - Excellent Tourist Farm Production and Sales Class" at the provincial level. The owner, Mr. Lai, is currently a supervisor at the Taiwan Association of Leisure Agriculture and dedicates his life to researching fruit tree cultivation. Visitors to the orchard have given it high praise. This year, the successfully improved "Qingjian No. 2" variety has attracted the most attention, known for its large size, fine fibers, and a sweet-tart juicy flavor.
