Shang Rui Citrus Garden Introduction
"The Shangrui Fruit Orchard" is located in Zhudong Township, Hsinchu County, on Donghe Industrial Road, 500 meters away from the Nanching Highway. It started planting citrus trees in 1989, mainly cultivating Shatian pomelo and Ponkan oranges. The orchard covers an area of approximately 1.5 hectares and transformed into a recreational industry in 1993, opening for fruit picking. It receives technical guidance from the Agricultural Association and the local township office, and undergoes agricultural inspections from the Taoyuan Agricultural Research and Extension Station each year. In 2000, it was awarded the silver medal in the provincial "Agrotourism Farm Evaluation - Excellent Agrotourism Farm Production and Sales Class." Mr. Lai, the owner of the orchard, currently serves as a supervisor in the Taiwan Association of Agrotourism Development, dedicating his life to researching fruit tree cultivation. Visitors to the orchard have given high praise. This year, the successfully improved "Qingjian No. 2" has attracted the most attention, characterized by its large size, fine fibers, slightly sweet and juicy flavor.
