Shangrui Citrus Garden Introduction
"Shangrui Leisure Fruit Orchard" is located in Zhudong Township, Hsinchu County, on Donghe Industrial Road, 500 meters from Nanqing Road. Established in 1989, the orchard began planting citrus trees, primarily focusing on Hai Li and Tung Kan varieties. The orchard covers an area of approximately 1.5 hectares and transformed into a leisure industry in 1993, opening for fruit picking. Currently, it is supported by the agricultural association and the township office for technical guidance, and it undergoes agricultural inspections by the Taoyuan Agricultural Improvement Station every year. In 2000, it won the silver medal in the provincial "Scenic Farm Evaluation - Excellent Scenic Farm Production and Sales Class." Mr. Lai, the owner of the orchard, currently serves as a supervisor for the Taiwan Scenic Farm Development Association and has dedicated his life to the research and cultivation of fruit trees. Visitors to the orchard express very high praise. This year, the successfully improved "Qingjian No. 2" variety has become the most popular, known for its large size, fine fibers, and a unique taste that is slightly acidic yet sweet and juicy.
