Shangrui Citrus Garden Introduction
"Shangrui Tourist Orchard" is located in Zhudong Township, Hsinchu County, on Donghe Industrial Road, 500 meters from the Nanching Highway. Established in 1989, the orchard began planting citrus trees, focusing mainly on sea pears and ponkan. Covering an area of approximately 1.5 hectares, it transformed into a leisure industry in 1993 and opened for fruit picking. Currently guided by the agricultural association and township office, it undergoes agricultural inspections by the Taoyuan Agricultural Research and Extension Station annually. In 2000, it won a silver medal in the provincial "Tourist Orchard Evaluation - Excellent Tourist Orchard Production and Marketing Class." The orchard owner, Mr. Lai, serves as a supervisor for the Taiwan Provincial Association of Tourist Orchards and has dedicated his life to researching fruit tree cultivation, receiving high praise from visitors. This year, the successfully improved "Qingjian No. 2" is the most attractive to everyone, featuring large grains, fine fibers, and a sweet, slightly sour, juicy taste as its main characteristics.
