Beigang Crafts Workshop Introduction
A century-old art town, where cultural treasures are hidden in alleys! Once the old dormitory of the Tax Bureau, it is now known as the Century-Old Art Town and serves as the Craft Industry Center in Beigang Township. Adjacent to the red-brick wall constructed with wine jars, it gathers local cultural and historical workers as well as traditional crafts, radiating the surprising alley culture throughout Beigang City. The Beigang Craft Workshop, established in 1964, is located within the alley near the Chaotian Temple and is the site of the old dormitory of the Tax Bureau. It officially opened on December 20, 2013, serving as a hub for Beigang's religious craft industry, preserving the rustic charm of the old houses from the 1950s while adding a rich artistic atmosphere, attracting craftsmen, local cultural and historical workers, and those who love historical and cultural tourism to explore the beauty of Beigang’s traditional and religious crafts.
