Beigang Craft Workshop Introduction
A century-old arts town with cultural treasures hidden in its alleys! Once the old dormitory of the Tax Bureau, it is now known as the Century-Old Arts Town and serves as the Craft Industry Center of Beigang Township. Adjacent to the red brick walls made of jars, it gathers local cultural and historical workers and traditional craft industries, radiating the surprise-filled alley culture throughout the Beigang urban area. The Beigang Craft Workshop was established in 1964, the site of the Beigang jar walls, and the address of the old Tax Bureau dormitory, located in the alleys near the Chaotian Temple. It officially opened on December 20, 2013, as a hub focused on Beigang's religious craft industry, preserving the rustic charm of the old houses from the 1950s while adding an artistic atmosphere, attracting local craftsmen, cultural and historical workers, and those interested in historical and cultural tourism to learn about the beauty of Beigang's traditional and religious crafts.
