Beigang Craft Workshop Introduction
A century-old art town hidden in the alleys! Once a former dormitory of the Tax Bureau, it is now known as the Century-Old Art Town and serves as the Crafts Industry Center of Beigang Township. Nearby is the red-brick wall built with pottery jars, which gathers local cultural and historical workers and traditional crafts, radiating the surprising alley culture throughout Beigang City. The Beigang Arts Workshop, established in 1964, is located at the former dormitory of the Tax Bureau and is home to the Beigang pottery wall. Nestled in the alleys near the Chaotian Temple, it officially opened on December 20, 2013, serving as a base focused on Beigang's religious crafts industry. It retains the quaint charm of old houses from the 1950s and adds a rich cultural atmosphere, attracting local artisans, cultural historians, and those who appreciate historical and cultural tourism to explore the beauty of Beigang's traditional and religious crafts.
