He-Pao Mountain Earth Mother Temple Introduction
The Dihmur Temple was established in the 34th year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty and has undergone several renovations. It was not until the 58th year of the Republic of China that it was reconstructed to its current scale. The main hall is dedicated to the Earth Mother Supreme, with the walls on both sides depicting the miraculous tales of the Earth Mother goddess saving sentient beings. The ceiling features an intricately carved coffered ceiling, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship. In front of the temple, there is the "Bagua Palm Earth Nine Dragon Pool," where nine colorful clay dragons are centered around the Bagua Pool, supporting a globe from the top of the pillars above the pool. At the top of the globe are the Earth Mother goddess and the Bagua diagram, symbolizing the supreme status.
