Beigang Craft Workshop Introduction
A century-old arts town, where culture is hidden in the alleys! Once the former dormitory of the tax bureau, it is now known as the Bai-Nian Arts Town and serves as the center of the craft industry in Beigang Township. Adjacent to the red-brick walls constructed from wine jars, it brings together local cultural and historical workers and traditional craftsmanship, radiating the cultural surprises found in the alleys of Beigang City. The Beigang Craft Workshop, established in 1964, is located in the alley near the Chaotian Temple and represents the site of the Beigang wine jar walls as well as the former dormitory of the tax bureau. Officially opened on December 20, 2013, it serves as a hub for the local religious craft industry, retaining the rustic charm of the old streets and houses from the 1950s while also adding a cultural and artistic atmosphere. It attracts craftsmen, local cultural and historical workers, and visitors interested in historical and cultural tourism to explore the beauty of local traditions and religious craftsmanship in Beigang.
