Beigang Wude Temple, which originated from a traditional Chinese medicine shop, enshrines the God of Wealth, Heavenly Officer Wu, who is a mythical figure from the Ming Dynasty novel "Investiture of the Gods." He is depicted holding a steel whip and possessing two magical treasures: the Pearl of Stabilizing the Sea and the Dragon Binding Rope. The faith in the God of Wealth in Beigang originated from the traditional Chinese medicine shop Baoshengtang on the main street, which is now a trendy cultural coffee shop.

Beigang Wude Temple, where the God of Wealth originates from the traditional Chinese medicine shop, is dedicated to the Heavenly Official, God of Wealth, known as Zhao Gongming, a mythological figure from the Ming dynasty novel "Investiture of the Gods." He wields a steel whip and possesses two magical treasures, the Dragon-Subduing Rope and the Pearl of the Ocean. The belief in the God of Wealth in Beigang started with the traditional Chinese medicine shop Baoshengtang on the main street, which is now a creative coffee shop. The main deity worshipped at Beigang Wude Temple is Zhao Xuantan Yuanshuai - Zhao Gongming, the God of Wealth from the "Investiture of the Gods," who leads the Four Directions Wealth Gods and oversees the treasury of gold and silver in the world, honored as the "Five Directions God of Wealth." The temple's large light blue incensory is very eye-catching and is known as the "Heavenly Treasury." The joss paper sold by the temple is inscribed with "Supplement Treasury," and the altar is adorned with large ingots to bring good luck to the public.
