Shibi Ecological Recreation Area Introduction
Shibi, about a 20-minute drive from the Caoling Image Business District, has become a popular hiking route in recent years. It serves as a relay station for the Xitou-Caoling traverse. Climbing to the highest point of Shibi Mountain, visitors can enjoy the ethereal mountain mist from afar and, with a bit of luck, witness a dreamlike sea of clouds. You can start from the most distant trail, walking along the bamboo forest path, then enter the camphor tree forest to experience the serene beauty of Shibi Mountain. Afterward, you could visit the Jiuqiung Sacred Tree, which survived a devastating fire, or head to Shibi Canyon to see how the flowing streams have carved the rocks into a picturesque gorge.
