Wanjian Gorge

The Wannian Canyon in Gukeng, Yunlin, also known as the "Grand Canyon of Taiwan," can be accessed via County Road 149. This V-shaped canyon, formed over years of erosion, features distinct layers in its riverbed, making it a natural geological classroom. Due to its steep terrain, direct access is not possible; however, the scenic beauty can be fully enjoyed from the observation platforms and walking trails.

The Wannian Gorge in Gukeng, Yunlin, also known as the "Grand Canyon of Taiwan," can be accessed via County Road 149. This V-shaped canyon, formed by years of erosion, features clearly defined riverbed layers and serves as a natural geological classroom. Due to its steep terrain, direct access to the gorge is not possible; however, visitors can enjoy stunning views from the observation deck and walking trails.

Remarks：The government announced on May 4, 2016, that recreational activities in the following area of Wannian Gorge Pavilion are prohibited. Please do not enter the riverbed to avoid danger.
