Zhanghu Indigo Dyeing Cultural Association Introduction
Crisis turned into opportunity, the ecological indigo dyeing was birthed from the abandoned Zhanghu Elementary School, which faced a serious ecological crisis due to the invasion of the alien plant called Mikania micrantha. Through the efforts of National Formosa University and several indigo dyeing experts, a successful indigo dyeing workshop service was established, transforming the school into a handcrafted indigo dyeing studio that promotes ecological spirit and is full of character.
