Zhanghu District Introduction
The Zhanghu area is located in the eastern mountain region of Gukeng Township, Yunlin County, at an elevation of 300 to 800 meters. Named for its circular, lake-like depression and its historical abundance of camphor trees producing camphor, it is known as Zhanghu. Within the mountainous area, there are sixteen attractions including Longfeng Waterfall, Changqing Waterfall, Tianchang Waterfall, Dijiu Waterfall, Sanchuan Stream, Changqiao Exploration, Lingquan Rising Dragon, Qingshui Beautiful Valley, Immortal Bathing Pool, Treasure Island Pond, Zhanghu Mountain, Mountain-Sea View, Thousand-Year Divine Tree, Gathering Immortals Rock, Lian Gem, and Snake King's Palace, collectively known as the Sixteen Sceneries of Zhanghu, inviting exploration of the ever-changing wonders of nature.
