Zhanghu Lake Area Introduction
The Zhanghu area is located in the eastern mountainous region of Gukeng Township, Yunlin County, at an elevation of 300 to 800 meters. The area is named Zhanghu (Cypress Lake) due to its round, lake-like depression and the abundance of camphor trees that used to flourish in the region, producing camphor. Within the mountains, there are sixteen attractions known as the "Sixteen Scenic Spots of Zhanghu," including Longfeng Waterfall, Changqing Waterfall, Tianchang Waterfall, Dijiu Waterfall, Sanchuan Stream, Changqiao Exploration, Lingquan Rising Dragon, Qingshui Beautiful Valley, Fairy Bathing Pool, Baodao Pond, Zhanghu Mountain, Mountain-Sea View, Thousand-Year Divine Tree, Gathering Fairy Giant Stone, Lian Gem, and Snake Palace, inviting visitors to explore the wonders of nature's ever-changing beauty.
