Water Buffalo Pit (Water Buffalo Pit Off-Road Site) Introduction
Shuibuyuan Pit is located next to the Western Coastal Highway and serves as a grazing area for surrounding cattle farmers. Facing the Taiwan Strait, it offers a great spot for watching sunsets and sea views, as well as distant views of wind turbines and the Linkou Power Plant situated by the sea. In recent years, it has become a popular photo spot in northern Taiwan. The steep yellow earth hills of Shuibuyuan Pit were formed from previous sand and gravel excavation, and this unique landscape has earned it the nickname "Linkou Grand Canyon," attracting many off-road enthusiasts who frequently come to showcase their driving skills with jeeps and off-road motorcycles, making it quite exhilarating!
