Dagu Mountain Trail Introduction
From the foot of Nanshan Road in Lujhu District, turn onto the mountainous industrial road, and you will find yourself in the Dagushan Leisure Agricultural Zone, which produces rice, organic vegetables and fruits, and horticultural flowers. The Dagushan Hiking Trail Park serves as the central point of this area. If you drive up, you can park at the parking lot in front of Fushan Temple Square, and upon stepping out of the car, you will be greeted by an expansive and relaxing view, especially stunning at night when the city lights create a beautiful scene. The Dagushan Hiking Trail Park is compact and exquisite, and you can reach the observation deck in less than a kilometer, where you can overlook the vastness of the sky and ocean. The park features a zigzag low-obstacle elevated walkway designed to enhance the experience with lush greenery along the path. If you visit in spring, you can enjoy the spectacular sight of wild lilies blooming across the hills. The paths are shaded by trees, with gentle slopes, and there are resting spots that showcase designs inspired by wild lilies, perfectly reflecting the local characteristics. This area offers views of land, sea, and air all at once. Although Dagushan has a low elevation, there are no high mountains nearby to obstruct the view, allowing for excellent sightlines. From the observation deck, you can see the HSR (High-Speed Rail) and Taoyuan MRT extending from the Linkou Plateau to the right, as well as distant sights such as the Qingpu area in Zhongli, the Yonghan Golf Course, Taoyuan International Airport, coastal wind turbines, Zhukwei Fishing Port, and Changsheng Power Plant, giving you a comprehensive view of land, sea, and air. Particularly noteworthy is the proximity to Taoyuan International Airport, just 8 kilometers away, where you can often see planes taking off and landing, which is a major highlight of the location. Additionally, during the spring and autumn seasons, this area is a vital stopover for migratory birds, making it a favorite spot for birdwatching and photography enthusiasts. Visiting Dagushan during the day allows you to enjoy the scenery, and at dusk, the ever-changing clouds and sunset colors are breathtakingly beautiful. Once night falls, the multitude of city lights shines like stars in the sky, creating a night view that rivals international scenic spots.
