Dagu Mountain Trail Introduction
To enter the Dagu Mountain Leisure Agricultural Area, turn from Nanshan Road in Luzhu District onto the mountain industrial road. This area produces rice, organic vegetables, fruits, and horticultural flowers. The Dagu Mountain Hiking Trail Park is the centerpiece of the area. If you drive up, you can park at the parking lot in front of Fushan Temple Square, where you will be greeted by expansive views that provide a sense of relaxation. At night, you can enjoy the beautiful lights of the city. The Dagu Mountain Hiking Trail Park is compact yet exquisite; from the entrance to the viewing platform, it is less than 1 kilometer, offering panoramic views of the vast sky and sea. The park's trails are designed with zigzag low-barrier elevated walkways, surrounded by lush greenery. If you visit in spring, you can also see the beautiful wild lilies blooming throughout the area. The shaded trails feature gentle slopes, and there are rest areas that showcase designs inspired by wild lilies, fully exhibiting local characteristics. From the viewing platform, looking from the left side of the Linkou Plateau to the right, you can see the high-speed rail and Taoyuan Metro passing by, as well as the distant sights of Zhongli’s Qingpu area, Yonghan Golf Course, Taoyuan Airport, offshore wind turbines, Zhuwei Fishing Port, and Changsheng Power Plant, making it a comprehensive vista of land, sea, and air. Notably, it is located only 8 kilometers from the flight path of Taoyuan Airport, allowing for frequent views of airplanes taking off and landing, a unique landscape feature here. Additionally, during the spring and autumn seasons, this area is a crucial stop for migratory birds, favored by bird watchers and photography enthusiasts. During the day, you can enjoy the scenery at Dagu Mountain, and at dusk, the ever-changing clouds and sunset are remarkably dazzling. As night falls, the countless lights resemble stars in the sky, creating a stunning nighttime landscape that rivals international attractions. With these natural advantages, Dagu Mountain has also developed a nighttime economy, featuring five or six Western and Chinese-style scenic restaurants nearby that focus on the night view, coffee, and fine dining.
