Dagu Mountain Trail Introduction

To access the Dagu Mountain Leisure Agriculture Area, turn into the mountain industrial road from the Shanjiao Elementary School on Nanshan Road in Luzhu District. This area produces rice, organic vegetables and fruits, horticultural flowers, and other agricultural products. The Dagu Mountain Hiking Trail Park is the centerpiece of this area. If you drive up, you can park at the parking lot in front of Fushan Temple. Once you get out of the car, you will be greeted with a wide view that feels immensely relaxing, and at night, you can enjoy the beautiful sight of countless lights. The Dagu Mountain Hiking Trail Park has a compact and exquisite layout; from the entrance to the observation deck, it is less than 1 kilometer, allowing for a sweeping view of the vast sea and sky. The trails in the park feature a zigzag low-barrier elevated walkway design, surrounded by lush greenery. If you visit in spring, you can enjoy the vast fields of wild lilies blooming across the mountains. The trail is shaded by trees, with a gentle slope, and the midway resting points showcase designs inspired by wild lilies, fully exhibiting local characteristics. With land, sea, and air views all available, you can enjoy coffee while taking in the scenery. Although Dagu Mountain is of low elevation, the lack of high mountains nearby provides excellent visibility. Standing on the observation deck, you can see the High-Speed Rail and Taoyuan Metro stretching from the Linkou Plateau on the left to the right, with distant views of Zhongli Qionggong, Yonghan Golf Course, Taoyuan Airport, coastal wind turbines, Zhuwei Fishing Port, and Changsheng Power Plant, truly encapsulating land, sea, and air views. Especially since it is only 8 kilometers away from the Taoyuan Airport flight path, you can often see planes taking off and landing, which is a major highlight of this location. Moreover, during the spring and autumn seasons, this area is a crucial stopover for migratory birds, making it popular among bird watchers and photography enthusiasts. During the day, you can enjoy the scenery at Dagu Mountain, and as evening approaches, the ever-changing clouds and sunset glow are stunningly beautiful. As night falls, the lights of thousands of homes resemble stars in the sky, creating a night view that rivals international attractions. With these natural environmental advantages, Dagu Mountain has also developed a night economy. There are five or six Western and Chinese-style scenic restaurants near the park, all focusing on night views, coffee, and gourmet food. If you have time, consider visiting Dagu Mountain for a trip to enjoy nature and scenery.
