Dagu Mountain Trail Introduction
From the foot of the Shanji Elementary School on Nanshan Road in Luzhu District, you can turn onto the mountain industry road, where the Dagu Mountain Leisure Agricultural Area is located. This area produces rice, organic vegetables and fruits, and horticultural flowers. The Dagu Mountain Hiking Trail Park is the central point of this area. If you drive up, you can park at the parking lot in front of Fushan Temple; once you get out of the car, you will be greeted by a wide-open view that makes you feel completely relaxed. At night, you can also admire the beautiful scenery of countless lights. The Dagu Mountain Hiking Trail Park is compact and exquisite, and from the entrance to the observation deck, it is less than 1 kilometer, allowing you to overlook the vast expanse of the sea and sky. The trails in the park are designed as low-barrier, zigzag elevated walkways, surrounded by lush greenery. If you visit in spring, you can also enjoy a sea of wild lilies on the mountainside. The trails are shaded by trees, with a gentle slope, and resting points along the way feature designs inspired by wild lilies, showcasing local characteristics. Although Dagu Mountain is of low elevation, it has excellent visibility since there are no high mountains blocking the views around. Standing on the observation deck, you can see the landscape extending from the Linkou Tableland to the right, with sights including the High-Speed Rail and Taoyuan Metro, as well as a distant view of Zhongli Qianpu, Yonghan Golf Course, Taoyuan Airport, coastal wind turbines, Zhuwei Fishing Harbor, and Changsheng Power Plant, offering a comprehensive view of land, sea, and air. Especially since it is only 8 kilometers away from the flight path of Taoyuan Airport, you can often see planes taking off and landing, which is a major attraction here. Additionally, during the spring and autumn seasons each year, this area is a crucial stop for migratory birds, making it popular among birdwatchers and photography enthusiasts. Visiting Dagu Mountain during the day to enjoy the scenery, and at dusk, the ever-changing clouds and sunset glow are stunningly beautiful; as night falls, the countless lights resemble stars in the sky, with a nighttime view that rivals international attractions. With these natural environmental advantages, Dagu Mountain has also developed a nighttime economy, with five or six western-style scenic restaurants near the park, all focused on nighttime views, coffee, and gourmet food.
