Dongli Station and Dongli Bike Station Introduction
Dongli Station, with an average of about 20 people coming and going daily, may seem unremarkable, but it is praised as "the most beautiful station on the mountain line." Stepping onto the platform, one is immediately captivated by the stunning scenery before them—an expanse of endless green rice fields surrounding the small Dongli Station. The spectacular pastoral views draw many visitors to explore this area. Dongli Bike Station, which is the former Dongli Station, serves as the northern starting point of the Yufu Bicycle Path. The boundless fields on either side make it a must-visit spot for many cycling enthusiasts. The bike station retains the early appearance of the platform, and the nostalgic vibe of the past, combined with the signature scenery of the Hualien-Taitung Valley, allows visitors to enjoy the beautiful rural landscape while cycling. As the sun rises, sunlight spills over the rice fields, and the lush green seedlings sway in the wind, creating waves of green rice that greet the eyes. With the changing seasons, the fields transition from green to yellow, filling the air with the aroma of rice.
