Dongli Station and Dongli Bike Station Introduction
Dongli Station, which sees an average of about 20 people entering and exiting each day, may seem unremarkable but is praised as "the most beautiful station on the Mountain Line." Upon entering the platform, visitors are immediately captivated by the breathtaking scenery before them—expansive green rice fields stretching out as far as the eye can see. The small Dongli Station is nestled amidst the fields, and the spectacular pastoral landscape has drawn many tourists to visit. Dongli Bike Station, the predecessor of the old Dongli Station, serves as the starting point for the Yu-Fu Bicycle Trail heading north. The boundless rural scenery on both sides is a must-visit stop for many cycling enthusiasts. The Dongli Bike Station retains the features of the early platform, combining nostalgic charm with the signature landscape of the Hualien-Taitung Valley, allowing visitors to enjoy the beautiful pastoral views while cycling.
