The "Nanjhuang Old Post Office" was established on May 1, 1923. It features a simple and rustic architecture and is currently one of the three major cultural assets from the Japanese colonial period in the village, along with the Old Zhuang Magistrate Residence and Nakagi. The interior exhibits many cultural characteristics and historical elements of Nanjhuang, making it a must-visit attraction. Saisiyat - Indigenous Culture: The saying goes that in the past, the Saisiyat people lived adjacent to the Ta'ai. The Ta'ai taught the Saisiyat people farming, medicine, and ritual dances, and the Saisiyat regarded them as benefactors. During festival ceremonies, the Saisiyat would invite the Ta'ai to celebrate with them. However, the Ta'ai often teased Saisiyat women. After enduring this for a long time, the Saisiyat decided to take revenge and killed many Ta'ai. The surviving Ta'ai cursed the Saisiyat, stating that they would face years of disasters and poor harvests, which indeed came true. Consequently, the Saisiyat people hold an annual "Spirit Festival" to pray that the Ta'ai will no longer bring misfortune upon them.
