Hakaniani Mountain Trail Introduction
Hakani Mountain has an elevation of 1,988 meters and was once a hunting ground for the Atayal people. The forest remains well-preserved and beautiful to this day. Shortly after starting the climb, there are good views from the ridgeline overlooking the Deer Field Village, and from one point on the mid-section ridge, you can even gaze far into the estuary of the Zhonggang River and the Western Coastal Highway Bridge. Moreover, due to Hakani Mountain's inland location and high elevation, strong winds are infrequent, resulting in a frequent mist that envelops the area, making a stroll through it feel like entering an ethereal paradise.
