Fengshan Viewpoint Introduction
Fengshan Viewpoint is located on the old road from Fengshan to Shehouping. It is said that "with one foot in three counties and hands holding waters from three streams." The viewpoint offers a wide vista, making it the best spot to overlook Fengshan village and enjoy the beautiful scenery of mountains and valleys. From the parking area, one can gaze at Jiao Long Waterfall. During the rainy season, one can experience the grand momentum of Jiao Long Waterfall, the highest waterfall in Taiwan, pouring down. Ascending the stairs to Fengshan Viewpoint allows for a view toward the northwest, where Jiao Long Stream and Shigu Pan Stream intersect, meeting the northern Qian Keng Stream before flowing into Qing Shui Stream. After enjoying the view of Fengshan village from the viewpoint, it is recommended to explore Fengshan itself, which has ten scenic spots: Shipan Valley Waterfall Group, Jiao Long Waterfall, Granite Waterscape, Meihualing, Snake Tree Egg, Immortal Tree Embracing Stone, Great Point Rain Waterfall, Thousand People Cave, Immortal Dream Garden, and Shiming Valley. Beyond its natural allure, one can also dive deeper into the village to discover the cultural scenery of Fengshan.
