Fengshan Viewing Platform Introduction
Fengshan Viewing Platform is located on the old road from Fengshan to Shehouping. It has been described as "feet touching the borders of three counties, hands holding the waters of three rivers." The viewing platform offers a broad view, making it the best spot to overlook the village of Fengshan and admire the beautiful mountains and valleys. From the parking area, one can enjoy a distant view of Jiaolong Waterfall. During the rainy season, visitors can experience the magnificent sight of Jiaolong Waterfall, the highest waterfall in Taiwan, pouring down. After ascending the stairs to the Fengshan Viewing Platform and gazing northwest, one can see the confluence of Jiaolong Creek and Shigupan Creek as they join the northern Qiangang Creek, flowing into Qing Shui Creek. After taking in the views of Fengshan village from the viewing platform, one should venture into Fengshan itself, which features ten scenic spots: Shipan Valley Waterfall Group, Jiaolong Waterfall, Granitic Water Above the Blue, Meihua Ridge, Egg Under the Serpent Tree, Immortal Tree Embracing Rock, Big Point Rain Waterfall, Thousand People Cave, Immortal Dream Garden, and Stone Dream Valley. Besides the natural landscapes, visitors can also delve into the cultural beauty of Fengshan.
