Fengshan Viewing Platform Introduction
Fengshan Viewing Platform is located on the old road from Fengshan to Shehouping. It is described as "with feet on the borders of three counties and hands holding the waters of three rivers." The viewing platform offers an expansive view, making it the best spot to gaze at the charming scenery of Fengshan Village and the surrounding mountains and valleys. Near the parking lot, one can already catch a distant glimpse of Jiaolong Waterfall. During the rainy season, visitors can experience the magnificent sight of Jiaolong Waterfall, the highest waterfall in Taiwan, cascading down. Climbing the stairs to the Fengshan Viewing Platform allows one to gaze northwest, where the Jiaolong Creek and Shigupan Creek converge, meeting the northern QianKeng Creek before merging into Qing Shui Creek. After taking in the view of Fengshan Village from the platform, it's time to explore deeper into Fengshan, which boasts ten scenic spots: the Shipan Valley Waterfall Cluster, Jiaolong Waterfall, Granite Water on the Green, Plum Blossom Ridge, Egg under the Snake Tree, Fairy Tree Embracing Rock, Big Rain Waterfall, Thousand People Cave, Fairy Dream Garden, and Stone Dream Valley. Besides the natural landscape, visitors can also delve into the cultural beauty of Fengshan Village.
