Fengshan Scenic Area Introduction
The Fengshan Viewing Platform is located on the old road from Fengshan to Shehouping. It is often described as "standing at the junction of three counties, holding water from three streams." The viewing platform offers a wide-open view, making it the best spot to overlook the Fengshan village and appreciate the beauty of the surrounding mountains and valleys. From the nearby parking area, one can glimpse the Jiaolong Waterfall. During the rainy season, visitors can experience the majestic flow of Jiaolong Waterfall, the highest waterfall in Taiwan. By climbing the stairs to reach the Fengshan Viewing Platform, one can look northwest, where the Jiaolong Stream intersects with the Shigupan Stream, and the northern Gankeng Stream meets before flowing into the Qing Shui River. After gazing at Fengshan village from the viewing platform, it is recommended to explore deeper into Fengshan, which has ten scenic spots: Shipan Valley Waterfall Group, Jiaolong Waterfall, Granite Water Blue, Meihualing, Snake Tree Egg, Immortal Tree Hugging Rocks, Dadyan Waterfall, Qianren Cave, Immortal Dream Garden, and Shimong Valley. Besides the natural landscapes, visitors can also delve into the cultural attractions of Fengshan village.
