Lily Plaza Introduction
Driving into Lai Chi, you’ll find many flower species planted along the way. This is a deliberate effort by the community to attract butterflies, which certainly catches the attention of visitors as well. Especially after passing Lai Chi Elementary School and Xingzhun Bridge, the area near the first pavilion on the right side of the road has become a veritable butterfly paradise. The pavilion appears somewhat neglected, but the surrounding plants continue to thrive, growing and expanding their territory, including many nectar-producing plants that provide rich food sources for butterflies. Within just a short distance of around ten meters, various butterfly species gather, including the Common Eggfly, the Purple Eggfly, the Common Red Flash, the Green-banded Swallowtail, the Red-edged Grass Yellow, and the Common Grass Yellow, all enjoying a feast and basking in the sun.
