Shuangwan Cycling Route Introduction
Shuangwan Bicycle Path is an 8-kilometer wooden plank road that starts from Qianshui Bay and is built along the coastline. The path extends from Qianshui Bay to Baisha Bay, allowing visitors to bike from Sanzhi to Shimen while enjoying numerous attractions along the North Coast, including the scenic Qianshui Bay beach, tide pools with algae, wind-eroded rock formations, temples, and Lianshan Cape. The endpoint is Baisha Bay, located between Lianshan Cape and Fugui Cape, which features a one-kilometer long crescent-shaped white sandy beach, known for its picturesque coastal scenery and as a popular summer swimming spot, making it ideal for tourists to relax and enjoy. Among the must-see spots along the way is the Lianshan Cape Recreation Area, which boasts rich natural geological landscapes. In addition to enjoying the seaside views, visitors can also observe the shallow coastal ecology. The movie "Secret" was filmed here, featuring a scene where the male lead rides a bicycle with the female lead along a beautiful path, which is the Lianshan Cape Trail. When passing this section of the road, visitors may want to take a moment to appreciate the poignant romantic scene from the film.
