In 2004, Wang Wenzhen went to Kaohsiung to study the craft and returned to sell at the archway of Xinyuan Jianyi Temple. In addition to traditional pure tofu pudding, he offers flavors such as sweet potato, mung bean, red bean, and job's tears. Xinyuan Frozen Tofu Pudding emphasizes health. The tofu pudding is handmade in the early morning of the same day, with no preservatives added. The soybeans are imported from Canada and are non-genetically modified, with import certification. The red beans, mung beans, and job's tears are all boiled on the same day and are produced in Taiwan, with accompanying pesticide inspection certificates. The syrup is made from Taiwan Sugar's granulated sugar, cooked for a long time. Wang Wenzhen’s frozen tofu pudding does not require crushed ice to be refreshing, as the tofu pudding stall itself acts as a large refrigerator, a result of his many years of experience in selling tofu pudding.
