Douhua Old Shop - Flavor Remains Introduction
This small snack shop, located at No. 151, Guogou Dong'an Village, Budai Township, is right next to a local Chenghuang Temple. Inside the shop, there are only two simple tables and chairs, a stall, and a 30-year-old menu board. They only sell three items: black tea, mung bean soup, and tofu pudding. Although these are three simple desserts, they hold a lot of knowledge behind them. The tofu pudding is handmade, both chewy and soft, and the syrup is simmered for an entire day and night, resulting in a remarkable aroma and sweetness. Each mung bean in the soup is tender and soft, not too hard and not too soft, providing an excellent texture.
