Tofu Pudding Old Shop - Flavor Remains Introduction
This small eatery, located at No. 151, East Anli, Guogou, Budai Township, is right next to a local Chenghuang Temple. The shop has only two simple tables and chairs, a cart, and an old menu board that has been around for thirty years. They sell only three items: black tea, mung bean soup, and tofu pudding. Although these are three simple desserts, there is a lot of expertise behind them. The purely handmade tofu pudding is both chewy and soft, with the syrup simmered for a full day and night, resulting in an outstanding aroma and sweetness. Each mung bean in the mung bean soup is tender and soft, not too hard and not too mushy, providing an excellent texture.
