Huwei Squid Soup Introduction
At the intersection of Xinxing Road and Heping Road stands the prominent sign of "Huwei Squid Soup." Indeed, "squid soup" is their signature dish. On the day of my visit, I coincidentally encountered a working group from "Kanosaka in Taiwan" who came to film, and everyone shared a common understanding of good food. The "squid soup" here is clear and golden, and it's visually appealing. Unlike the heavy flavors of the squid soup in the north, this version has a light aroma from the thickening which complements the crisp texture of the squid, leaving a more lasting and fragrant memory on the palate. The restaurant also offers a variety of side dishes, so it's definitely no problem to fill up by pairing it with other items. The business hours are from 8 AM to around 8 PM.
