The first-generation settled in the Xinying paper factory, having learned Cantonese cuisine from a young age, was employed as a chef at a guesthouse. At that time, President Yen Chia-kan, General He Yingqin, and Tainan County Mayor Liu Bowen often designated Mr. Deng to be the chef. Later, he switched to selling breakfast, retaining the rich flavors of the mainland cuisine in his dishes and insisting on generous portions, chewy noodles, and quality. Now passed down to the second generation, the quality remains recognized.
