Li Teng-fang Historical Residence Introduction
The national historic site "Li Teng-fang Ancient Residence," also known as "Li Jin-hsing Ancient House," was built in 1860. The layout, feng shui, and decorations of the Li residence are highly distinctive and well-preserved, symbolizing the process of Han Chinese families deeply cultivating the Daxi area. The owner of the Li residence, the "Taiwan Peach County Li Jin-hsing Public Corporation," entrusted the management of the residence to the Matsu Wood Art Museum in 2017. Guided by the philosophy of "legacy," the museum positions the Li residence as a "Daxi Game Elementary School," hoping to convey the cultural values of the Li residence and the Daxi area to future generations through methods such as parent-child and school education.
