Li Teng-fang Historical Residence Introduction
The national historic site "Li Teng-fang Ancient Residence," also known as "Li Jin-xing Ancient House," was built in 1860. The layout, feng shui, and decorations of the Li Residence are highly distinctive and well-preserved, symbolizing the deep-rooted process of Han Chinese families in Daxi. The property owner, "Li Jin-xing Public Charitable Corporation of Taoyuan City," entrusted the management of the residence to the Mazu Folk Art Museum in 2017. With the concept of "Heritage," the museum aims to position the residence as a "Daxi Experiential Learning Center," hoping to pass on the cultural values of the Li Residence and the local Daxi heritage through parent-child activities and school education methods to future generations.
