Li Teng-fang Old Residence Introduction
The national historic site "Li Teng-fang Historic House," also known as "Li Jin-hsing Old Residence," was built in 1860. The layout, feng shui, and decorations of the Li residence are unique and well-preserved, symbolizing the deep-rooted development of the Han Chinese family in Dakeng. The owner of the residence, the "Taoyuan County Li Jin-hsing Public Temple," entrusted the management of the house to the Matsu Museum in 2017. The museum is based on the concept of "passing down heritage," designating the Li residence as a "Dakeng Children's Learning Center," aiming to convey the cultural values of the Li residence and Dakeng through parental and school education for future generations.
