Li Teng-Fang Historical Residence Introduction
The national historic monument "Li Teng-Fang Residence," also known as "Li Jin-Hsing Old House," was built in 1860. The layout, feng shui, and decorations of the residence are highly distinctive and well-preserved, symbolizing the process of Han Chinese families deeply cultivating their roots in Daxi. The owner of the Li residence, "Taoyuan County Li Jin-Hsing Public Worship Corporation," entrusted the management of the residence to the Muko Museum in 2017. The museum adopts the concept of "Passing Down Heritage" and positions the Li residence as a "Daxi Mini Academy," hoping to transmit the cultural values of the Li residence and Daxi through family activities and education in schools for future generations.
