Chang Liu Contemporary Art Museum (Taoyuan Branch) Introduction
The venue is currently under renovation and is temporarily closed. **Origins**: Chang Liu Gallery was first established in Taipei, Taiwan in 1973 as the first company of the Chang Liu Organization. The founder, Mr. Huang Cheng-Zhi, is the son of renowned Taiwanese painter Huang Ao-Bo and is also a well-known appraiser and collector of calligraphy and paintings. Huang Cheng-Zhi, with his unique taste in exquisite artworks, has led Chang Liu Gallery to engage in collection and agency management, with a wealth of Chinese art from ancient to modern times, particularly featuring precious works by master artists. **Chang Liu Contemporary Art Museum Taoyuan**: In order to showcase its increasingly rich collection, Chang Liu Museum Taoyuan was established in March 2003 in Nankan, Taoyuan. It serves as a cultural treasure trove and one of the local cultural institutions in Taoyuan City, hosting various themed exhibitions, art education courses, and performance activities, creating an elegant artistic leisure space for art enthusiasts. In recent years, it has strengthened cross-strait cultural exchanges and development, holding art exhibitions, academic seminars, and discussions in domestic and international museums in China, Japan, Singapore, and beyond.
