Nankan River Waterfront Park Introduction
The Nankan River flows through major areas such as Guishan, Taoyuan, and Luzhu, with six waterfront parks along the way providing urban residents with the joy of enjoying water and greenery without having to travel far, embodying a lifestyle that prioritizes well-being. ■ Guishan First Riverside Park – Located beside Tongxin 2nd Road in Guishan District, surrounded by vast green spaces and the gentle stream, this park features various sports fields, a children's playground, and a leisure area for the elderly, ensuring fun for the whole family. The park also displays retired military weapons, including tanks, fighter jets, anti-aircraft guns, and ship anchors, resembling a small military history museum. The Star and Moon Bridge with its blue structure has a lively design, and the brilliant light sculptures add to the enchanting riverside ambiance at night. ■ Taoyuan First Riverside Park – Along the right bank of the Nankan River, from the Chenggong Bridge downstream to the Tianzhu Bridge, this area includes large heart-shaped sculptures, a happiness plaza, a red LOVE scenic installation, a four-leaf clover pavilion, a heart-lock trail, and the steel-constructed Qingxi Rainbow Bridge. The dazzling light and shadow projected on the river at dusk create a romantic hotspot for dating. ■ Guoji River Riverside Park – Located alongside Sanyuan Street and Tianzhu Bridge in Taoyuan District, this park features turf, green belts, leisure trails, and bike paths, allowing visitors to take leisurely walks or bike rides while getting closer to nature.
