Lin Family Garden Introduction
Across from the stone arch bridge along Jianzhuwuo Road, there is a thriving orchard. If you happen to visit during the summer, the fruit trees are laden with ripe water pears. Standing on the slope is a beautiful farmhouse that makes one eager to explore inside. Jianzhuwuo is famous for its rice dishes, and beyond the Newpu rice noodles, there are various unexpected delicious rice delicacies and experiential activities. The clever combination of food and fun leaves visitors exhilarated. The Lin family, named after the orchard, appears quite romantic in this rice dish village. The sincerity of the person in charge is evident, as a few words reveal their deep care for the orchard; one moment they are touching the water pears, and the next, they are worriedly mentioning how fast the weeds grow, much like a father concerned for his child. The fruits in sight are all different, and even the unseen land is filled with his cherished fruits. The foreman Lin patiently describes, "This one is an orange, those few are water pears, oh! This one is a grapefruit, and here is a seasonal persimmon," as if he were calling out the names of his children, fully knowledgeable about each plant. Visiting the orchard during harvest season means there are endless fruits to pick, even with the influx of visitors, and that is Lin's family orchard.
