Lin Family Garden Introduction
Opposite the stone arch bridge along Jianzhuwu Road, there is a thriving orchard. If you happen to visit during the summer, the fruit trees are laden with firm water pears. Standing beside the slope is a beautiful farmhouse that makes you want to step inside and explore. Jianzhuwu is famous for its rice dishes, and besides the Xinpu rice noodles, there are many delicious rice meals you wouldn’t imagine, along with various experiential activities. The clever combination of food and fun has tourists thrilled. The Lin family, named after the orchard, stands out in this rice dish village with apparent romance, and the sincerity of the owner is clearly expressed. A few words can’t help but show concern for the orchard, as he gently touches the water pears and then turns around, muttering about the fast-growing weeds, much like a father worrying about his children. The fruits visible vary, and even the unseen land is full of his cherished fruits. The steward Lin patiently introduces, “This one is citrus, those are water pears, oh! This is grapefruit, and there’s a seasonal persimmon.” It’s like calling roll call for his children, and he knows each one by heart. During the fruit harvest season, a visit is a must; even with crowds pouring in, Lin's orchard is never fully harvested.
