Lin Family Orchard Introduction
Across from the stone arch bridge along the Jianzhuwu Road, there is a vibrant orchard. If you happen to visit during the summer, the fruit trees are laden with ripe water pears, and a beautiful farmhouse stands on the slope, beckoning you to explore further. Jianzhuwu is known for its rice dishes, offering not only Xinpu rice noodles but also a variety of unexpected delicious rice foods and experiential activities. The clever combination of culinary delights and fun leaves visitors thoroughly satisfied. Named after the orchard, the Lin family’s establishment in this rice dish village is quite romantic, and the sincerity of the owner is palpable. In a few words, you can feel their concern for the orchard, as they lovingly handle the water pears while commenting on the rapid growth of weeds, much like a parent worrying about their child. The fruits in sight are all different, and even the land that cannot be seen is full of their beloved fruits. The orchard’s manager patiently introduces, “This plant is a citrus, those few are water pears, oh! This one is a grapefruit, and here is a seasonal persimmon,” as if calling out the names of his children, well-acquainted with each plant. A visit during the fruit season means that even though crowds may come, there are still endless fruits to harvest, and that is the Lin family orchard.
