Jinhan Persimmon Cake Education Park Introduction
To fully understand the complete story and knowledge of persimmon production, you can visit the Jinhang Persimmon Education Park located in the professional area for persimmon cakes in Hankan Village, Xinpu Township. Established in 1947, Jinhang Persimmon is named after the founder Liu Xingwu's father's name "Jinhang." By participating in guided tours, you can fully experience the persimmon cake making process and understand the fighting spirit of Taiwan's traditional industries. The park also offers on-site visits for persimmon processing, tasting opportunities, and DIY experience activities such as making red persimmons, water persimmons, and kneaded persimmon cakes. In addition to making persimmon cakes, the second floor of Jinhang Persimmon features a classroom for persimmon dyeing crafts that accommodates 200 to 300 people, but prior reservation is required.
