Jinhan Persimmon Cake Education Park Introduction
To fully understand the complete story and knowledge of persimmon production, the Jinhann Persimmon Educational Park, located in the Persimmon Specialty Area of Hankan Li in Xinpu Township, was established as early as 1947. The person in charge, Liu Xingwu, named the family business after his father "Jinhann." Participating in guided tours allows for a full experience of the persimmon cake production process and an understanding of the hardworking spirit of Taiwan's traditional industries. The park also offers on-site visits for persimmon processing, tastings, and DIY activities such as making red persimmons, water persimmons, and kneading persimmon cakes. In addition to persimmon cake production, the second floor of Jinhann Persimmon can accommodate workshops for 200 to 300 people for persimmon dyeing, but prior reservations are required.
