Ruanqiao Community Introduction
Along the South Qing Highway towards Wufeng, with beautiful scenery stretching across, you will enter the "Ruanqiao Community." The flowing water of the Shangping Creek passes by, serving as the lifeblood for the people in the Greater Hsinchu area. On the canal road of the Zhudong Canal, there is the Ruanqiao Branch of the Guishan Hydroelectric Power Plant, the smallest unmanned hydroelectric power plant in Taiwan. Taipower has planned it as a hydroelectric power memorial park, which is highly educational. The "community paintings" are also a significant characteristic of the community. Walking along the streets of the community, you can see countless stories on the walls of each house; each artwork brightens the Ruanqiao Community and illuminates the hearts of its residents.
