Dongshan Farm Introduction
Another great place to connect with nature is the Dongshan Fruit Orchard located in Guanxi Township, Hsinchu County. The owner of the orchard insists on using natural farming methods, applying organic fertilizers and manual grass cutting, allowing visitors to pick fruits with peace of mind. The orchard produces a variety of citrus fruits, with the harvest season from early November to the end of March the following year. Varieties such as Ponkan, Sour Orange, Yan Yang Orange (a new popular type of orange), Tangerine, and Mikan will be available in rotation. Visitors can also purchase homemade Hakka orange jam to take home. Nearby attractions include Guanxi Old Street and Dong'an Ancient Bridge, making it suitable for a fruitful cultural tour.
