Wuzhi Mountain Cross Trail Introduction

Wuzhishan, located at the intersection of Beipu, Zhudong, and Wufeng Townships, consists of five connected peaks that resemble five fingers, hence its name. Starting from the trailhead at Zhulin Zen Temple, the trail leads directly to the summit of Wuzhi, passing in sequence by the Thumb Peak, Index Peak, Middle Peak, Ring Finger Peak, and Little Finger Peak. It is one of the favorite minor peaks in Taiwan among mountain enthusiasts. The trail has a rich ecosystem, with natural broadleaf forests and Taiwan cedar forests flanking the path, allowing hikers to enjoy the phytoncides in the forest. The trail is mostly gentle, but there are steep sections that require the use of ropes for assistance, so it is recommended to prepare professional climbing equipment to avoid accidents. Wuzhishan Trail Type: Suburban Mountain Trail Difficulty: Low Length: 1.1 kilometers Trail Conditions: Wooden boardwalk, log steps, stone steps, dirt and gravel trail Trailhead: Zhulin Zen Temple Trailhead
