Sammo's Residence Introduction
Located fifty meters above the suspension bridge in Taoshan Village, this was the residence of the late renowned Taiwanese author Sanmao. Sanmao once said, "Silence is nature's whisper; it is solitude, yet not loneliness." Throughout her solitary life, Sanmao left behind a tranquil home and countless literary works praising the beauty of the clear springs, adding a beautiful tale to this stunning mountain forest. Today, "Sanmao Dream House" is adorned with many historical documents from Sanmao's life and photographs taken with her, provided by Father Ding Songqing. Standing in front of the red-brick house, one unconsciously travels back in time, allowing thoughts to drift alongside Sanmao and feeling her poignant sighs that resonate in the interwoven spaces of time.
