Sanmao's Residence Introduction
Located fifty meters above the suspension bridge in Taoshang Village, this was the residence of the renowned late Taiwanese writer Sanmao. Sanmao once said, "Silence is the hush of nature, being alone but not lonely." Throughout her solitary life, Sanmao left behind a quiet abode that was not lonely, along with countless writings praising the beauty of clear springs, adding a beautiful chapter to this stunning mountain landscape. Today, the "Sanmao Dream House" is adorned with many historical documents and photographs of Sanmao provided by Father Ding Songqing, depicting moments from her life. Standing in front of the red brick house, one unwittingly reminisces about the past, and thoughts drift along with Sanmao, sensing the enchanting sighs that linger amidst the intertwining of time and space.
