Muma Path Ruins Introduction
The ancient trail is located above the Neiwan Police Station in Neiwan Village. In the 1920s, during the period when the Japanese government conducted coal mining trials in Neiwan, they unexpectedly discovered rich timber resources in the mountains, which led to the establishment of the logging industry in Neiwan. At that time, wood was transported down the mountain using "wood horses," which is how this ancient trail got its name.
