Beicao Suspension Bridge Introduction
Bei Jiao Suspension Bridge spans the You Luo River, with a single span length of 220 meters, making it the second longest suspension bridge in Taiwan, following the 350-meter-long Pinglin Suspension Bridge in Nantou County. After the bridge was built, it only takes a 5-minute walk to reach the opposite bank, significantly shortening the travel time and making transportation more convenient. It is an important bridge leading to the Ma Tai Village and is also a popular walking and fitness route. It has now become a new landmark in Jianshi Township. Designed with a "red bridge arch and steel cable suspension system," it attracts many tourists who come to take photos and enjoy the scenery.
